A 2000 sqm entirely dedicated to the blind and visually impaired in Via Etnea, a few meters from the Hotel and opened in Catania on March 15, 2008 and only one of its kind in Italy that offers various services such as: a tactile Museum, a bar in the dark, a sensory garden, a showroom and an internet cafe in the dark that allow blind people to learn and acquire directly all new instruments and any existing aid worldwide for their autonomy, for the information and cultural growth.

The Centre deals with even-dimensional shape of all playback designs printed in the lyrics, the reproduction of works of Arts and culture (monuments, statues, churches, etc.), the realization of plans of cities and towns, schools and neighborhoods.

This material is exposed in the Museum, a place where blind people can examine with your hands works, ranging from Ursino castle of Catania to the temples of Agrigento, via immortal works as the Milo’s Venus and Michelangelo’s David (the head). Not only that, but it has been reproduced in scale even a volcano as Mount Etna.
